From all the rain that has been going on up north all summer, Eau Claire's river has been extremely high. Right now, it's at its peak and there has been a lot of flooding.
A friend of mine lives on this street and told me that her landlord came over a few days ago to clear out her basement, including the washer and dryer because he is sure that her basement will be flooded.
